Nah. It's cool.

[ Narancia follows him when he steps away, blinking with some disappointment when his hand pulls away, too. Even if they're moving, Narancia keeps himself close to Mista as they make their way over, clingy and clearly wanting to stay close for every moment. During the Cordis moon, it's easy to ignore it if he's not in anyone's immediate vicinity, but once he gets close enough to someone, it gets impossible to resist the craving for the sensation of Moonlacing. ]

It feels kinda... good, actually? [ He's never let anyone pet him too much like that - not for more than a few seconds at most, because he doesn't like the idea of anyone he doesn't trust getting near his neck anyway. ] That's not weird for you, is it?

For me? No, not really, it’s just that someone got me thinking about making sure that people are cool with certain things, you know?

[ Narancia doesn’t need to know that Abbacchio suplexed him for touching under his shirt, it’s not as if Mista had any plans to do the same to him. He did notice that the other was staying pretty close, choosing not to comment on it and instead just parking his ass on the couch.

It was easy enough from here for him to reach out and take the other’s hand, pulling him down on the couch beside him and slinging his arm over Naracia’s shoulders and going right for those feathers again. ]

I wonder if something like that gets you more Chroma, like petting your feathers and stuff. I mean, if it feels good then it’s gotta do something in terms of a boost, right?

[ Some of it might have been selfish motivation, he wasn't really aware of the issue with pheromones and he still couldn't place why he wanted to be close to Narancia too. Couldn't place that faint and pleasant scent that made him want to play with those feathers all the more. A hell of a thing, Cordis. ]

[ Narancia settles in, loosely wrapping his arms back around Mista's exposed waist, while tilting his chin this way and that while Mista runs his fingers through the soft feathers there. It feels good, oddly relaxing but simultaneously exciting at the same time - not to mention that Mista's hands are warm, too, in a way that feels moreso than usual.

He finally settles on an angle, his chin tilted far to the right - so his head can rest on Mista's shoulder - and his eyes slide closed. ]

You think so? I wish. I could use the money... [ On a particularly pleasant stroke against the tufts of feathers, he lets out a slow exhale through his nose, leaning into his friend's hand as much as he can, self-indulgent. ] And you could too.

[ He reminds him with a little laugh, much gentler than the usually boisterous snickers shared between the two of them. When he speaks again, he peeks open one eye, strangely not minding how close the two of their faces are - something that would usually embarrass him, but he finds no issue with it now, merely enjoying the affection. ]

I mean, ya really are broke, aren't you?

[ Later he would reflect on this and think about just how gay this kind of was, much later. For now he was perfectly fine with this strange closeness that they had right now. He was silent and thoughtful as he continued to fuss about with the feathers, closing his eyes and shifting to rest his head against Narancia's. ]

Yeah, I'm really broke, so I can use anything and everything I can get...

[ He paused with a feather between his fingers, pulling his hand away slowly before petting him again. ]

...you really that poor too? I might give you shit a lot of the time, but you know you can always ask me for help, right?

[ When Mista moves his head to rest against his, Narancia simply turns up slightly so he can press his lips to the other's cheek in a light kiss, simple as anything. It's slow, almost sleepy in the motion. His lips are smoother than one'd expect, and warm like the rest of him. ]

Oh, yeah, I know. [ It's almost like he's too lazy to move away from the other's face to speak properly, mumbling against him, still against his cheek. ] I just don't need a ton of money to get by.

[ It's nice to have money, don't get him wrong, but if made to, he can be incredibly frugal. ]

Whaddya need all this Chroma for, anyway?

[ He doesn't seem to mind the extra contact at all, using it as a chance to pull his fingers carefully over the back of Narancia's head. ]

I need pyjamas and the ones that would suit me are a little out of my price range.

[ He let out a sigh, closing his eyes for a moment and pulling Narancia back with him as he rested farther back on the couch. ]

Well, that and it takes a lot to feed the Pistols. I don't think it's right just to leave them tucked away all the time, they need to be out and free...be themselves.
